OVERVIEW
Ekko is a Mix-Up character built around time manipulation. His Rewind lets him snap back to a previous position, turning honest-looking offense into teleport crossups your opponent can’t react to.
He demands more decision-making than most of the cast, but no character in 2XKO makes blocking feel more hopeless when piloted well.
TJ’s Tip
Place your Rewind marker BEFORE you start offense, not during it. The threat of the teleport is stronger than the teleport itself.
REWIND & TIMEWINDER
Rewind (S2) drops a time marker at Ekko’s position. Re-activating warps him back, preserving momentum and creating left/right mixups mid-blockstring.
Timewinder (236S1) is a boomerang projectile that controls neutral on the way out AND the way back — sandwiching opponents between threats.
NEUTRAL GAME
Ekko plays bait-and-switch neutral. Throw Timewinder, advance behind it, and let the returning projectile cover your approach.

High-level Ekko is about marker discipline — every marker placed is a question your opponent must answer 4 seconds later.

- Marker + Tag creates true left/right unblockables with certain partners
- Delay Timewinder return catch for frame-trap resets
TEAM COMPOSITION
Ekko loves partners who lock opponents down long enough for him to set markers safely. Best friends: Jinx (zoning cover), Ahri (charm setups into warp mix), and Yasuo (windwall protects marker placement).
